Privacy notice

Last updated 6 October 2026

This notice explains how Lumko Business Technology Partners (“Lumko”, “we”) handles personal information collected through this website. We process personal information in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us:

  • your name, organisation and, optionally, your role;
  • your email address and, optionally, your phone number;
  • your message and your preferred contact method.

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs for security and to keep the site running.

Why we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, where you ask us to, to discuss working together. We do not sell your information or add you to marketing lists without your agreement.

Who can see it

Your enquiry is sent by email to the Lumko team. Where we bring in a specialist from our network to help answer your enquiry, we share only what is needed, under a duty of confidentiality.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting relationship, then delete them unless the law requires otherwise.

Third-party services

If you choose to book a call through Calendly or message us on WhatsApp, those services process your information under their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us at info@lumko.cloud. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
